Today, there are more bikes and many more kids, and they meet in an old chicken coop (a.k.a. the "Tamarindo Shop")converted into an indoor soccer and in-line hockey rink and an all purpose community center.
The Tamarindo "shop" has become the most important space in the region. It's bursting at the seams. We need your help... to expand the current facility for tomorrow...
It all started with one bicycle. Over 20 years ago, it was the chance to ride the one bike in town that motivated a group of young kids to begin showing up at a makeshift classroom, under a tree, and the Tamarindo Community was born.
